We are excited to announce that his HH Sri Ganapati Sachchidanda Swamiji envisions a Datta Temple expansion! The Datta Temple is the only one of its kind in the USA! It was built under the guidance of Parama Pujya Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji.

In July 1997, Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji consecrated the Datta Temple in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, by performing the Praana Prathista to Lord Ganapathi, Lord Dattatreya, Anagha Devi, and Lord Shiva.

Sri Phani Kumar Sharma Yedida underwent his priestly training in Mysore, Datta Peetham, and joined the Datta Temple as a priest in September 2018.

The Datta Temple of Baton Rouge is the 26th Datta Temple constructed by His Holiness Parama Pujya Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji of Avadootha Datta Peetham. Everyone is invited to experience the peace and power of this sacred temple.
